Gray: Ewing Walker will be bringing his daughter, Thayer, SPS ‘95, who "attended the University of Texas Plan II Honors Program (120 kids in a Liberal Arts curriculum), from which she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1999. Spent an additional year at UT graduate school earning her Texas State Teachers Certificate for grades K-8. Taught for a year in Houston and moved to New Canaan, CT in September 2002. She currently baby sits a couple of money managers in Greenwich, fills in as a substitute teacher at various local schools, and continues to resist her father's encouragement to get a vocational degree…JD, MBA…something. Another of Ewing's daughters, Kate Walker ‘98, "will be roaming the grounds for her SPS Fifth Reunion and who is apt to crash the Rettew soiree, graduated from the UT Plan II Program on May 17, and was elected Phi Beta Kappa last month.
